[What the role is]

As a Senior Manager / Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the rail asset management framework, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, particularly the ISO 55000 series. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvement, managing audit and certification processes, fostering competency development, enforcing compliance, and optimizing cost management.

[What you will be working on]

- Oversee the review, development, and enhancement of LTA’s rail asset management framework, strategies, plans, and processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and international standards.

- Manage the achievement and maintenance of ISO 55001:2024 certification for the rail asset management system. Conduct and oversee regular internal audits, continuously refining asset management procedures and processes.

- Develop and enhance the asset management competency program and materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive coverage of topics and alignment with industry standards and best practices.

- Define and review compliance conditions related to asset management and maintenance in rail operating licenses and contracts. Work closely with rail operators to implement and enforce these requirements.

- Evaluate submissions by rail operators to ensure compliance with license requirements.

- Establish and enhance visibility into the lifecycle costs of rail systems and infrastructure. Optimize cost management and provide lifecycle cost data support to stakeholders.

- Lead and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential.

- Facilitate cross-department collaboration to ensure cohesive and integrated asset management practices. Work with various departments to align strategies, share knowledge, and achieve common goals.

[What we are looking for]

- Extensive knowledge in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Railway Engineering, or Transport-Related Engineering.

Specializations in Engineering Management, Physical Asset Management disciplines such as Life Cycle Management, Reliability, Quality Engineering, Engineering Finance will be advantageous.

- Strong conceptualization, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with various stakeholders.

- Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
