Department Details

Detroit Lakes Dialysis is a 15- station unit providing outpatient hemodialysis 5 days per week.

Mon, Wed, and Fri: 5:30am - 7:00pm.
Tue and Thur: 6:00am - 3:30pm.

We will provide on the job training so new nurses as well as experienced are encouraged to apply!

Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of dialysis patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with Dialysis Technicians and other experienced Dialysis nurses. This position offers an opportunity to work with a team of motivated professionals to provide care and treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease. Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV Education Details

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
