Loss Prevention Analyst

As a key member of the North American Operational Excellence Team, you will drive strategic initiatives to empower store operations across the U.S. and Canada. Your work will directly influence the effectiveness of operational processes, focusing on reducing shrink, optimizing cash management, and elevating store performance. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure the implementation of industry-leading best practices and operational efficiencies. Your insights and decisions will have a direct impact on the company’s operational goals, employee and customer satisfaction, and overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

In this high-impact role, you will take ownership of the following initiatives:

Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of company-wide loss prevention and cash management programs, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and operational excellence strategies.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Take ownership of complex data analysis to identify emerging trends in shrink and loss, and use these insights to drive high-impact decisions that reduce risk and enhance operational performance across all stores.

Program Design and Optimization: Manage the deployment of new loss prevention tools, technologies, and cash management solutions, including pilot testing, full-scale rollouts, and ongoing optimization based on feedback and performance data.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key vendors, managing relationships and performance to ensure exceptional service delivery. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, and Store Operations to ensure seamless integration of systems, tools, and processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders in operations, loss prevention, and finance to drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in shrink reduction and cash management practices across stores.

Reporting & Accountability: Oversee the development and dissemination of high-level reporting for key stakeholders, including senior leadership. Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on comprehensive analysis of shrink trends, safe performance, and cash management metrics.

Process Optimization: Lead efforts to streamline and improve loss prevention and cash management processes, identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and greater efficiency.

Program Performance & Risk Mitigation: Take a proactive role in mitigating risk through the identification of potential vulnerabilities and implementing corrective actions to address them before they impact store operations or financial performance.

Training & Development: Design and facilitate advanced training programs for regional and store-level teams, ensuring comprehensive understanding and consistent execution of updated loss prevention and cash management protocols.

Operational Excellence: Continuously assess operational performance and develop initiatives to improve safety, service excellence, and overall operational efficiency across the business.
