SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Logistics & Warehouse Manager, you will lead and manage Logistics and Warehouse by enhancing its developments based on Jotun’s values and in accordance with local, regional, segment, and corporate objectives and guidelines to achieve their overall objectives related to safety, profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, service, and quality.

This role is based in Addis Ababa, and reports to Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Warehouse and Logistics team in line with Jotun’s Leadership Expectations, ensuring a skilled, engaged, and future-ready workforce.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), Jotun Operations System, and HSEQ requirements through effective procedures and monitoring.

  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing the Jotun Operations System and tracking progress via KPIs and operational meetings.

  • Optimize logistics operations by managing freight improving delivery performance and advising on cost-effective transportation methods.

  • Oversee warehouse management, including receiving, picking, quality control, stock accuracy, and facility maintenance.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with CSD, purchasing, and planning teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support smooth operations.

Qualification & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Managment or any related field

  • 2+ years of managerial experience in Logistics and Warehouse, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
