Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations to ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials, products, and information. This role supports production and distribution activities by managing shipments, inventory flow, and communication between internal departments, carriers, and 3PLs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring on-time delivery of materials and finished goods.
  • Schedule and track shipments, verifying that documentation and packing lists are accurate and complete.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to resolve delivery or receiving issues.
  • Responsible for refining receiving processes and resolving errors to improve accuracy and efficiency.     
  • Maintain up-to-date records in SAP or other logistics management systems.
  • Support receiving, staging, and shipping processes to maintain production flow.
  • Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, etc.).
  • Collaborate with procurement, planning, and production teams to prevent material shortages.
  • Identify and escalate potential delays or discrepancies that may impact production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation requirements. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
