Responsible for the management & improvement of all production planning & supply chain activities relating to liquid (LIN/LOX/LAR/LCO2).
The Liquid Planner is responsible to orchestrate an optimized production planning that is cost efficient together with the Supply Chain Analyst. He/She is responsible for managing the sourcing with key stakeholders to align the quota for each source; matching our customer demand with optimized production, 3rd-party and distribution assets. He/She is responsible for gathering all inputs and constraints from our sourcing and distribution operation. This person is responsible for monitoring and improving the performance of our Total Landed Cost.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Act as the focal point for all Business Lines for supply chain related matters: Logistic constraints, shutdown/maintenance planning, sourcing, traffic management/purity constraints, liquid allocation pertaining to liquid planning (LIN/LOX/LAR/LCO2)

2. Strategic Planning

  • Contributor to scenarios formulation and optimisation

3. Monthly Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP)

  • Aggregate demand forecast for liquid
  • Match demand forecast and exceptionals with supply and production
  • Consolidate S&OP with distribution and logistics
  • Consolidate realized performance vs previous plan
  • Implement the plan with the stakeholders

4. E2E Short-term: Weekly Planning (S&OE)

  • Review previous week liquid forecast accuracy
  • Aggregate liquid demand forecast
  • Aggregate PP constraints
  • Run scenarios & Select
  • Check plan effectiveness & capitalize on lessons learned

5. E2E Short-term: execution of the daily production

  • Update Weekly Planning S&OE

6. E2E Short-term: execution of the daily distribution

  • Update weekly planning S&OE if required (incl. pickups)
  • Rolling monitoring of quota & close the loop in industrial performance

7. Spot Sales

  • Competitor Support Decisions
  • Communicate Unavailability to Competitor
  • Picked up liquid volume check against requirement
  • Delivered Spot Sales Support Decision
  • Communicate Unavailability to Prod mgmt/Commercial
  • Communicate Unavailability to Customer
  • Present Cost to Product Management
  • Gas and Liquid delivered volume check against req.
  • Calculate & communicate final costs, lessons learned

8. Shortage Crisis Management

  • To assist in defining plan to resume the customer supply
  • To participate in Post Crisis Capitalization
  • S&OP Scenarios Updates
  • To assist in Financial Impact Assessment

Are you a MATCH?

The successful candidate should have advanced education in engineering and preferably above 5 years of experience in plant operation and/or production planning and/or business operation. This background should enable him/her to optimize the "Production vs Demand" activity on a pool of Air Separation Units, located in different EAP countries. The candidate should also be in charge of coordinating a number of associated workflows. As our goal is to leverage digital tools to build data driven production planning, it is key that the successful candidate is keen to cope with the digital tools.
Due to the multiple stakeholders that the candidate will deal with, excellent communication skills, high autonomy and ability to learn fast will be a key success factor.
Considering the candidates will coordinate in emergent situations at different timing, flexibility and resiliences are key to success criterias.
The candidate will strive for continuous improvement to streamline Non-Value Added tasks and standardize our workflow throughout our geographies.
