In this role, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team working to develop a Cross Domain Solution (CDS). You must be comfortable with the design and implementation of cybersecurity policies in Linux such as operating system hardening and application of cryptography which meet client requirements. You will utilize experience configuring SELinux and creating new SELinux policies for developed application.

You Have:
3+ years of experience hardening Linux operating systems in accordance with U.S. government standards such as STIGs or FIPS
Experience with shell scripting
Experience with risk management framework (RMF) and mitigating cybersecurity threats
Ability to apply additional hardening techniques beyond STIG requirements such as isolating processes to limit device compromise
Ability to design and implement user or group account schema
Ability to design and implement discretionary access control (DAC) to limit sharing of information
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Software Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience applying hardening at scale via infrastructure as code such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
Experience with automated testing tools to verify cyber requirements are correctly implemented such as Chef InSpec
Experience creating Security Enhanced (SE) Linux policies and configuring SELinux
Experience working with cryptography
Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
