Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dispatch Agent in Bellshill.

Working hours: 37.5 per week
Shift pattern: 18:00 – 02:00   

Extra hours available on Sundays on a rota basis.
Salary: will include night premiums
Permanent position, Holidays starting at 23 days, Retirement Plan, Free Uniform and PPE, Life assurance.

What will you be doing?
• Communicating with the drivers on a daily basis
• Using inhouse system to arrange and log drivers’ routes 
• Tracking trailers and drivers and updating the information 
• Collating and distributing reports 
• Distribute and record mobile technology to the drivers 
• Dealing with vehicle breakdowns and maintenance

What are we looking for?
• Someone who is computer literate and can use Computer literate excel and word programme's 
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines 
• A great team player with the ability to work alone when required 
• Someone who must be willing to complete training when required 
• Good communication skills 
• Previous knowledge of transport road operations would be an advantage but not necessary
