Senator Reynolds and her team are dedicated to ending poverty and making Oregon the best state in the nation to grow up. She currently serves as Chair of the Senate Committee on Early Childhood and Behavioral Health, and is a member of the Senate Committee on Human Services and the Senate Committee on Health Care. Much of her legislative work revolves around these policy areas, in addition to gun violence prevention, housing and homelessness.
Senator Reynolds has successfully passed major legislative initiatives including establishing Oregon’s Child Tax Credit, expanding insurance coverage for perinatal health services, allowing local governments to regulate firearms in their buildings, quadrupling state funding for youth experiencing homelessness, protecting families with babies from eviction, and much more.
