The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company’s Law Department is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to join their team! This person will support a Vice President as well as other attorneys/executives within the Law and Global Compliance organization and provide administrative support in a variety of legal practice areas. This position is based at Boeing’s corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA. We are open to both Level C and Level D Executive Assistants to join our team.
A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working under limited supervision and performing multiple work assignments concurrently, often within a short period of time, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. The individual will also work well with others, clearly communicate requirements, expectations, and deadlines, and ask questions to acquire and share relevant information.
Position Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of assigned executive attorneys’ daily work routine
Understand and adapt to unique priorities, working habits and preferences of each executive
Serve as a liaison and point of contact between attorneys and their internal and external clients, outside counsel, and government officials and agencies, as needed
Monitor the status of pending items, and keep executives advised of time-sensitive issues and emergent matters
Coordinate and manage attorney calendars by accurately scheduling meetings, conference calls and video conferences across multiple time zones
Assist in the development, preparation, proofreading, revision and distribution of meeting agendas and materials, presentations, legal documents, financial spreadsheets, tables, charts, reports, and routine correspondence
Maintain paper and electronic filing systems using accepted legal office practices and the company’s record keeping systems and procedures
Follow Boeing policies and procedures, and use industry accepted security practices when handling sensitive and confidential information and communications
Schedule and coordinate domestic and international travel; regularly monitor all logistical aspects of the trips; revise meeting agendas, tour schedules and travel itineraries, as needed; communicate changes to all parties involved in a timely fashion
Prepare, reconcile and submit expense reports using Concur to ensure timely and accurate payment and/or reimbursement
Use Boeing’s internal legal matter management system to create, monitor and manage legal matters; process invoices and generate reports, as needed
Register, process and escort domestic and foreign visitors
Receive, sort, prioritize and accurately distribute office mail in a timely fashion; handle all sensitive and confidential information with discretion and proper safeguards
Coordinate work with other Law & Global Compliance staff members; provide backup support for other attorneys/executives, as needed
Assist with the onboarding of new attorneys, and with the training and onboarding of new support staff members
Order and maintain office supplies using Boeing’s approved system, and in accordance with Boeing’s policies and procedures
Take on various other work and responsibilities, as needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction
3+ years of experience providing administrative support to multiple executives
3+ years of experience in heavy schedule management and/or travel planning
5+ years of experience in a previous role where meticulous attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and quality was paramount
5+ years of experience in the handling and the safeguarding of proprietary and confidential information
5+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associates degree or higher
Do you have 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of in-house counsel or law firm experience
Experience with international travel and event planning
