About the role:
Lendlease is seeking a strategic and commercially astute Legal Counsel to support high-impact corporate transactions and initiatives across its Australian operations. Based in Barangaroo, Sydney, this role sits within the Management Services business unit and reports to the Chief Legal Officer, Corporate.

The Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in:
Structuring and documenting major corporate and treasury transactions, including international debt and equity raisings.
Supporting merger clearance processes and outsourcing arrangements in Finance and Digital.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams—Tax, Finance, Strategy, M&A, and Digital—to ensure efficient and compliant deal execution.
Managing external legal budgets and resources through the Lendlease Legal Panel.
About You:
A law degree and practising certificate.
Strong project management and negotiation skills.
Post-admission experience, ideally from a highly regarded law firm or in-house legal team.
Expertise in the chosen field such as corporate advisory, M&A, property transactions, banking, and related legal areas can be flexibly applied across various aspects of the role, all of which are integral to its diverse scope.
Demonstrates initiative in navigating complex legal matters and driving outcomes.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across legal and commercial teams.
