Lecturer in Neuroscience

Brandeis - Waltham Campus Part time

The Department of Biology and the Neuroscience Program at Brandeis University seek an instructor for NBIO 146a Neurobiology of Disease, a four-credit course in Spring 2026. This course is a lecture- and literature- based course that examines the molecular, cellular, and circuit level mechanisms underlying neurological and psychiatric diseases. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:55pm-5:15pm.

Candidates with a PhD in Neuroscience or a related field, and relevant teaching experience and interest in Neuroscience will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is November 7, 2025.

This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509. 

The compensation for this four-credit course is no less than $8321.60.
