[What you will be working on]
- Conduct lessons for both full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners, fulfilling all responsibilities associated with the teaching role.
 - Develop and deliver curriculum, courseware, and e-learning modules for full-time and part-time courses in the following areas:
- Power System Analysis
 - Power Transmission, Distribution, and System Protection
 - Smart Grid Technology
 - Electrical Design and Installation
 - Other relevant courses leading to Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW - Technician) certification.
 
 - Supervise student projects and internships in collaboration with industry partners.
 - Integrate IT resources and multimedia platforms to facilitate effective lesson delivery.
 - Counsel, coach, and mentor students to support their learning, participation in competitions, career guidance, and personal development.
 - Undertake academic-related administrative duties, committee work, and support outreach activities, including local and overseas community projects and study trips.
 - Plan, lead, manage, and develop industry-linked projects, student internships, and capability development initiatives.
 - Foster holistic student development in areas such as career readiness and leadership.
 
[What we are looking for]
- Qualifications in Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
 - Certified Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) at Technician level or higher.
 - Strong knowledge and experience in the following areas:
 - a) Electrical power systems: generation, transmission, and distribution
 - b) Power system analysis, protection, and control
 - c) Electrical machines and transformers
 - d) Power system modelling and simulation tools (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB)
 - e) Electrical testing and measurement instruments
 - f) Electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, and local regulations)
 - g) Hands-on experience in power system design, operation, and maintenance
 - h) Fault analysis, load flow studies, and system stability assessments
 - i) Renewable energy systems and their integration into power grids
 
- Proven ability to lead, plan, execute, and deliver projects that develop solutions for industrial applications.
 - A self-starter who thrives in cross-functional roles.
 - Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks effectively.
 - Flexible, embraces lifelong learning, and demonstrates a growth mindset.
 - A team player with strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and presentation skills
