Leasing Property Manager - AMERCO Real Estate Company

Amerco Real Estate Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Property Manager. In this role, you will work alongside the leasing team to oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial property portfolio in the U.S. and Canada. You will be directly under the supervision of the management team including the Director of Leasing. Please note this is a full-time, in-person position in Midtown Phoenix, business travel may be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  •  Manage and oversee daily operations of assigned commercial properties within AREC’s portfolio
  • Administer CAM reconciliations
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure maintenance, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Serve as the primary contact for tenants, landlords, vendors, and contractors
  •  Prepare and monitor property budgets, operating expenses.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices, bids, and service contracts
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Leasing, Legal, Accounting, and Construction, Local Team) to resolve property and tenant issues
  • Support new property transitions and ensure accurate setup in Yardi or similar property management systems

Qualifications:

  • Certified Property Manager (CPM), Real Property Administrator (RPA) (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial property or asset management
  • Strong understanding of commercial leases (NNN, gross, and ground leases)
  • Proficient in Yardi, MRI, or comparable property management software
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
