Redesign the future of how people experience the world

At Loop we aim to give people control over how they experience the world around them. As Lead User Experience Designer at Loop, you’ll shape every step of the user journey, from the unboxing to the daily wear of our products. You’ll translate insights into intuitive, manufacturable interactions and lead cross-functional execution from idea to launch. If you’re obsessed with human behavior, driven by prototyping, and passionate about magical user experiences that break the status quo, this is the opportunity to build a global product experience from the ground up. 

Lead the experience. Design for impact. 

As a Lead User Experience Designer, you’ll create and own the complete UX strategy across Loop’s physical and digital experiences. Your day-to-day will include partnering with Industrial Design, Product Management, and Engineering to align every interaction with our product vision. You’ll be hands-on—building prototypes in 3D print, silicone or fabrics, translating insights into ergonomic and accessible designs, and testing them with real users. You’ll define interaction models, UX principles, and systems that scale across categories. At the intersection of science, design, and culture, you'll products that not only work beautifully, but feel like they belong in everyday life. 

Your other responsibilities: 

  • Lead the UX workstream in new product introductions, from first sketch to final shipment
  • Create and evolve UX patterns, frameworks, and standards across product lines
  • Advocate for usability and comfort throughout product trade-offs and design reviews
  • Collaborate daily with Product Management, Industrial Design, Acoustics, and Engineering teams
  • Mentor and support other UX designers on craft, process, and decision-making 

How you’ll succeed as a Lead User Experience Designer 

You bring a strong point of view but listen first. You work fast without rushing. You care deeply about human needs, and back your work with prototyping and research. You’re energized by making complex things simple and thrive at the intersection of physical and digital. Your ability to guide teams through ambiguity makes you a trusted voice in the room. And your obsession with execution ensures ideas don’t just look good, they make people’s lives better. 

These key competences will set you up for success: 

  • 7+ years of UX design across physical products, hardware, or digital-physical systems
  • A strong portfolio that shows end-to-end product thinking and systems design
  • Fluency in ergonomic principles, accessibility, and user-centered design
  • Prototyping skills with tools like Figma, Rhino, Keyshot, Arduino, sewing or other are a strong plus
  • Experience aligning with Product, Engineering, and Program teams on NPI programs
