Lead Strategic Pricing

Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies and policies that maximize profitability and market share, while ensuring competitive positioning and effectively communicating them to stakeholders. The Strategic Business Wireline Pricing team is looking for an analytical self-starter with strong financial acumen to join us as Lead Strategic Pricing.

In this role, you will develop business cases for Business Internet Products, monitor the competitive landscape through CI data, and make sure we are on track to hit our Revenue & Margin targets for the year. You will also dive into NextGen Pricing - getting up to speed with AI Algos that set prices and new tools (PROS) to move faster in financial analysis. The ideal candidate has both strong coding skills (SQL/Python) and strong knowledge of Pricing analysis.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Formulate and execute data-driven pricing strategies and policies to optimize profitability, ensuring compliance with strategic, financial, and administrative guidelines.

• Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analyses to inform pricing decisions, providing strategic insights and advising on final pricing contracts.

• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate the implications of proposed or implemented pricing policies to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Performance Evaluation and Financial Analysis: Utilize complex data modeling and financial analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making necessary adjustments to maximize impact.

• Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including cross-functional collaboration, customer insights integration, and utilization of pricing tools to enhance decision-making processes, ensuring all activities align with overall business objectives.

An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.

Experience: 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Lead Strategic Pricing earns between $130,700 - $196,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
