We are seeking a talented individual to join our Remuneration Data Solutions (Career) team at Mercer. This role will be based in Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office                                                                         

Lead Specialist – Survey Administration (D1)

What can you expect?

The purpose of this role is to work independently, on routine work for markets. The key accountabilities of this role will be to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on client products and internal projects, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.

We will count on you for:

  • Data / Survey Analysis:
    • Perform comprehensive analysis of client data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Utilize advanced Excel functions including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and statistical formulas (like count, sum, mean, median, mode, countif, etc.) proficiently.
    • Demonstrate the ability to interpret data effectively, identify gaps, and recognize emerging trends.
    • Review and analyse statistical reports, providing insightful recommendations; experience in Compensation & Benefits is preferred.
    • Produce data analyses and prepare statistical reports for publication purposes.
    • Maintain and update data collection documents and reporting materials.
    • Liaise with consultants to confirm participation and validate data integrity.
    • Comply with all established standards and guidelines relevant to the line of business.
    • Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure their timely completion.

  • Project management
    • Overseeing survey project plans and ensuring adherence to deadlines
    • Coordinating activities with various project stakeholders
    • Communicating project status updates to both internal and external parties
    • Collaborating in discussions to resolve moderate issues (e.g., field or result discrepancies) while identifying potential risks
    • Demonstrating capability in Root Cause Analysis and managing client escalations
    • Contributing to resource allocation decisions
    • Conducting project and technical peer reviews
    • Ensuring project execution aligns with established standards and procedures
    • Engage actively in the execution of multiple projects annually.
    • Support process documentation efforts and participate in the evaluation of software tools as necessary.
    • Identify and recommend appropriate tools for specific work products to enhance efficiency and quality.
    • Prepare, document, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Conduct thorough peer reviews of all survey work prior to market release to maintain high standards and accuracy.

What you need to have: 

  • Graduate (any stream)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in survey management
  • Experience in similar kind of work, statistical analysis (Mean, Median, Percentile, Percentage etc.) or related field preferred
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Advance excel formula (like pivot tables, slicer etc.) to review & analyze data
  • Problem solving skills
  • Team Player
