Trimble is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (P3) for the Cityworks AMS and PLL product line in Chennai, India. This role is pivotal in ensuring software quality, cybersecurity readiness, and test automation maturity. You will lead QA efforts, mentor the team, and drive improvements in testing frameworks and practices.
The Lead QA Engineer will be responsible for the overall test strategy, automation coverage, and security validation for the Cityworks product suite. You will coordinate test planning, automation initiatives, and vulnerability validation, working closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Lead QA planning, estimation, and execution for web-based enterprise applications.
Strengthen and expand the automated test suite using Selenium WebDriver and Visual Studio.
Collaborate with the Cyber Security Team to analyze scan results and validate remediations.
Manage test coverage for functional, regression, and performance areas.
Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and propose preventive measures.
Drive QA process improvements, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Mentor QA engineers and conduct code reviews for automation scripts.
Manage test environments and ensure readiness for deployments.

Improved product reliability and defect leakage metrics.
Effective collaboration with development and cybersecurity teams.
On-time test deliverables and comprehensive release validation.
Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, C#, Visual Studio, and automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability validation.
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and data validation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automation into build pipelines.
Working knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, and software deployment.
Hands-on experience in manual, functional, regression, and API testing.
Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS, Cityworks, or asset management software preferred.
Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar QA management tools.
B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
6+ years of experience in QA, with at least 1 year leading QA teams or initiatives.
Proven experience in automation frameworks, security validation, and test strategy.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
