Lead Scrum Master (T4)
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Scrum Master to join our team and drive Agile best practices across multiple teams or complex product(s). In this role, you will serve as a situational leader, coach, and facilitator, helping teams deliver high-value software efficiently while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.
Responsible for managing all aspects of diverse, geographically distributed products, including planning, process implementation/improvements, metrics/risks/dependencies/timeline tracking for smooth execution. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to make teams members resolve issues towards project goals. Communicates with all stakeholders (leadership, product owners, architects, developers and quality engineers) to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
The Scrum Master candidate will work with multiple Agile software development teams to successfully deliver multi-tier SaaS solutions on time, with high quality and that delight customers. High collaboration with team members, management and other Agile teams is also required in the role:
Education:
- Bachelors in engineering or equivalent degree.
Experience:
- 8 years of experience in Software development industries with at least 4 years of experience as a SAFe Agile Scrum Master
- Experince in multiple teams’ management experience and international environments.
- High analytical skills and monitoring ability
- Must have worked on internal/external dependency resolution, long range planning, and conflict resolution in multi-team/multi-ART products.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
- Proven ability to facilitate SAFe Agile meetings (planning events, reviews and similar) and coach teams through complex delivery challenges.
- Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Enable teams to adhere to scrum principles and fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Foster team health to build strong cohesion within the organization
- Background in software development is must.
- Strong understanding of Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
Nice To have:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II or III), SAFe Scrum Master)
Familiar with basic concepts of software testing and Devops practice is a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and lead PI Planning, Program Increment refinement, sprint refinement, Scrum of SCRUMs, sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile and quality events.
- Serve as a Scaled Agile Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, ensuring the effective application of Scrum principles and practices.
- Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure they are productive and focused.
- Collect, maintain and communicate team analytics to all involved entities in dev environments to foster data-based insights and warnings
- Remove impediments and help the team overcome obstacles to progress.
- Coach, mentor and educate team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile mindset & best practices and process improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, feedback, and reflection.
- Work with Product Owners to ensure a well-refined and prioritized Product Backlog.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to align processes across teams.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and contribute to developing organizational Agile maturity.
