The Role

This role is for a Presales and Business Development Manager that provides technical and business expertise throughout the client engagement cycle. This role combines industry knowledge, solution consulting, and project management to drive business development, qualify opportunities, and deliver compelling proposals. Acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader, you will shape client solutions, influence decision-makers, and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and business expertise to support sales teams in engaging with prospective clients, including solution propositioning and proposal development.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing industry-specific insights to expand market presence.
  • Act as a thought leader by delivering business and technical perspectives to clients, partners, and internal teams, positioning the company as a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee project management activities to ensure timely delivery of client engagements, coordinating across technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Serve as an industry subject matter expert (SME) by qualifying leads and opportunities, shaping client solutions, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and business strategy.


Job Qualifications
You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. 

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science/Math/Physics/Engineering or similar
  • 3+ years of IT experience - preferably presales, business analyst, QA, project or program manager, engineer or similar
  • Proven experience in sales engineering, solution consulting, or a similar leadership role supporting business development and client engagement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and delivering thought leadership to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Track record in lead qualification and opportunity management, including the ability to assess client needs, scope solutions, and contribute to winning proposals.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Sales Engagement & Prospecting Tools
  • Key skills include strong analytical and negotiations skills, attention to the details, detail-oriented, organized, capable of managing complex situations, and command the ability to work with sales, delivery and solution development counterparts
