Lead Material Handler

As a Lead Forklift Driver, you assist the Warehouse Team Leader with supervision of the work of the finished goods material handlers. Shift:  Nights 6:45pm – 7:15 am

  • Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

  • Includes 2 long-weekends every month

  • Full time schedules are 15 working days a month

Pay: 

  • $20-22 an hour, based on experience

  • Plus $1.00 more for night shift differential

You Will

  • Supervise the Finished Goods Material Handlers on shift.

  • Verify adherence to Safety & Quality Standards, SOPs and GMPs.

  • Be responsible for the movement and storage of all finished product, including documenting shipments, RF scanning, transferring product, and using FIFO inventory methods.

  • Be responsible for transaction accuracy and process reliability.

  • Develop and implement work instructions as per the ISO standard.

  • Ensure proper staffing to meet daily requirements.

  • Coordinate objectives/initiatives with other departments/teams such as conversion, administration, quality, sales, purchasing, scheduling and delivery.

  • Complete other duties as assigned

You Have

  • A valid driver's license

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to build an effective work team utilizing good leadership traits in a professional manner.
