Lead Generation Specialist

Job Summary

As a Lead Generation Specialist at TD Synnex/Shyft Global Services, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential sales leads to support our sales team and drive business growth.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and target accounts through various channels, including online databases, social media, industry publications, and networking events.

- Develop and execute outbound lead generation strategies, including email campaigns, cold calling, and social selling to engage with prospects.

-Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, assessing their needs, budget, authority, and timeline to ensure alignment with Tech Data's offerings.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead generation activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and provide insights into prospect needs and challenges.

- Analyze lead generation performance metrics and continuously optimize strategies to improve conversion rates and ROI.

- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.

-Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline development, and key performance indicators for management review.


Job Qualifications

- Required high school diploma (minimum)

-Proven experience (2+ years) in lead generation, business development, or sales, preferably within the technology distribution industry.

- Strong understanding of lead generation methodologies, sales processes, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospects.

-Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.

-Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

-Familiarity with marketing automation tools and data analytics is a plus.
