About the Function

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on commercial and financial performance, supporting the business with analysis and insights to support business decision and foster an environment of control and compliance. The FP&A team is also responsible to own and animate the financial planning calendar and timelines, make sure inputs to the planning cycle are of high quality and enable senior management to understand key hunting grounds and major opportunity and risks to deliver the financial equation.

 

Role Overview

  • Lead Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to uncover insights across various business dimensions, supporting strategic decision-making for the Ireland market.

  • Performance Management: Deliver a robust annual plan, oversee monthly performance reviews, and provide clear, actionable analysis.

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial forecasts, performance reports, and key business insights.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Produce high-quality, data-driven analyses to support informed decision-making across the organization.

  • Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice to cross-functional teams on planning, forecasting, and performance management.

  • Problem Solving: Independently address and resolve complex financial and operational challenges.

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Business Partnering: Work closely with in-market Finance and Regional teams to achieve financial targets and drive overall business performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other business functions to provide financial and commercial insights, ensuring effective decision-making and strong control environments.

  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior internal partners and peers by delivering accurate, timely reports and supporting strategic planning initiatives.

  • FP&A Support: Collaborate with the FP&A team to strengthen financial processes and deliver continuous improvement.

  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures within the team and across the market.

 

About you

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

  • Experience: 4–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and/or Financial Controlling

  • Expertise: Proven background in accounting with strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Industry Exposure: Prior experience within a global FMCG organization or a fast-paced shared services environment is a strong advantage.

  • Systems Knowledge:

    • Proficient in BW, SAP, Power BI, Anaplan, and BFC.

    • Proven track record to approach system-related challenges with a broad perspective.

    • Skilled in data extraction and analysis to drive insight-based decision making.

  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
