Lead Financial Analyst

What you will do

Under the general direction of the Sr Finance Manager of Corporate FP&A, our Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for providing in-depth financial planning and business analysis related to the Corporate Function Finance support.

Must be able to effectively and professionally work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The primary duties of this role will be to lead the financial and analytical processes for Corporate Functions at Johnson Controls.

How you will do it

  • Prepare monthly Corporate Function financial statements.

  • Prepare annual operating and capital budgets, along with monthly Outlooks for Corporate Functions.

  • Lead financial trend analysis and present findings to senior leadership.

  • Maintain dialog with management, departmental and regional financial personnel to identify and evaluate evolving business issues.

  • Lead analysis of operational results compared to plan and forecast.

  • Partner with Corporate Function leaders to adhere to plan/forecast.

  • · Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Provide leadership and support to other COE Finance team members as needed.

  • Drive special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Will be required to work US hours 25% of each month.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance.

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in private and/or public accounting.

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with ability to adapt to changing environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer focused approach.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and a drive to achieve both short and long term results.

  • Ability to work well independently and in team setting.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen required

  • Proven track record of delivering results required

  • Ability to meet firm deadlines.

  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; SAP and OneStream experience is a plus.

  • Exhibits professional demeanor and emotional maturity.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2500 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
