Join Singapore Polytechnic’s Communications team, where you’ll be part of a dynamic group shaping and implementing our content strategy across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a passion for engaging content, and a good understanding of digital and integrated marketing.

[What you will be working on]

  • Experience in digital content creation, including video production and editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).

  • Strong storytelling and visual sense, with the ability to craft content that resonates with Gen Z audiences.

  • Hands-on experience in digital advertising/media buy (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube) will be highly regarded.

  • Experience in influencer marketing (briefing, content review, performance tracking) will be an advantage.

  • Understanding of SEO/SEM principles and how content drives digital visibility.

  • A creative, resourceful, and collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Monitor, engage and respond to conversations from various social media platforms and SP website.

  • Manage SP and/ or secondary school student influencers and ambassadors; ensure that deliverables and timelines are met.

The appointee may also perform the following tasks:

  • Contribute to the digitalisation efforts of SP

  • Play an active supporting role in events, like the SP Open House, a major annual outreach event led by the Department of Communications.

  • Provide administrative or project support such as representing the department in internal and external project committees.

  • Be versatile to provide support across the various communications work streams, in addition to your primary and secondary roles.

[What we are looking for]

  • People-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and alignment to brand voice.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven experience in digital and social media marketing campaigns, with a good understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience in video production and editing (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut) to produce creative, engaging content.

The successful candidate will be offered a position which commensurate with their years of experience and will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
