Position Summary

CVS Health is executing a multi-year transformation across ERP (e.g., SAP S/4 Central Finance), enterprise planning (e.g., Anaplan), the finance data and analytics program, and other finance programs. You will lead Finance Optimization Impact & Readiness—the adoption engine that prepares stakeholders, end users, and operations for change. You will design and run the change strategy, role-based training, stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and adoption insights—partnering with other communications and support teams and leveraging enterprise channels. The transformation is underway; you will mature and extend existing work while raising consistency and scale. What you’ll lead

Change and readiness strategy

  • Build the end-to-end change strategy, stakeholder map, and readiness plan across ERP, planning, and the finance data and analytics program.
  • Define the operating rhythm for readiness: tollgates, checklists, readiness scorecards, and adoption-focused go/no-go criteria.

Stakeholder and impact management

  • Conduct impact assessments; map personas/roles; define what changes for each role (process, data, controls, tools) and implications for policy/operations.

Federated change agent/super-user network

  • Design and orchestrate a federated model embedded within finance business teams (e.g., FP&A, Controllership, segment finance).
  • Equip local super-users with playbooks, training kits, KPIs, and feedback loops—enabling finance teams to successfully execute change in their areas.

Training and enablement

  • Create the role-based learning strategy (curriculum, learning paths, Train-the-Trainer) and produce enablement assets (job aids, simulations, quick reference).
  • Orchestrate content development and delivery using enterprise learning platforms; link UAT/CRP outcomes and cutover scenarios to training content.

Adoption communications

  • Work with comms and change teams to build the message architecture and editorial calendar; deliver clear, timely, action-oriented messages, working closely with internal communications teams.

Cutover readiness and hyper care-specific scope for this role

  • Own the change, communications, and training workstreams for cutover readiness; define adoption-specific go/no-go criteria and “day one” enablement.
  • In hyper care, lead communications and training contributions and coordinate knowledge transition to steady-state support.
  • Partner closely with the peer Cutover & Risk Lead, who owns the integrated command center and overall hyper care operations.

Insights and measurement

  • Establish change readiness and adoption insights (e.g., role readiness, training progress, usage/engagement trends, sentiment, user support signals) and use them to course-correct plans.

Change Management risk and issue management

  • Identify resistance early; propose mitigation options and trade-offs; escalate decisively with data and implications.

Team leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing change, training, and readiness team; manage specialist vendors as needed; coach pillar delivery teams on readiness standards; integrate with other communications teams.

What will make you successful

  • Change & Execution Agility: Thrives amid shifting priorities; bias for action; resilient through ambiguity and pushback.
  • Process & Systems Thinking: Understands end-to-end process and system impacts; designs for scale and sustainability over workarounds.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Aligns diverse stakeholders; resolves conflict productively; escalates with options and implications.
  • Ownership & Accountability: End-to-end ownership with disciplined execution and quality.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Structured, data-driven, detail-oriented.
  • Leadership & Influence: Translates strategy into operational goals; develops talent; balances team advocacy with enterprise priorities.

This is a remote/hybrid role.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of working on complex programs that requires integration and change management support
  • 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale, system-enabled change (ERP/EPM/data/analytics or comparable).
  • 5+ years across consulting and/or internal transformation; we will consider strong equivalents with demonstrable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • End-to-end ownership of readiness and adoption for at least two major platform releases, including design of curricula and Train-the-Trainer/super-user models.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence across business, finance, and technology; effective in matrixed, regulated enterprises.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and operate readiness/adoption insights and translate them into action.
  • Knowledge of Collaboration tools (MS 365/Teams/SharePoint)/ and BI (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
