Role: Lead Engineer – AI Agentic Frameworks
We are seeking a Lead Engineer to design and develop next-generation agentic AI frameworks powering Arctic Wolf’s AI SOC Automation platform.
This role is deeply technical and innovation-focused — building large-scale, multi-agent orchestration systems and autonomous task execution frameworks that leverage LLMs, reasoning loops, and tool-use orchestration. You’ll work on the foundation of Arctic Wolf’s intelligent automation ecosystem, defining how AI agents think, act, and collaborate across complex enterprise workflows.About Arctic Wolf Labs
Arctic Wolf Labs is the research and innovation arm of Arctic Wolf, focused on developing advanced AI and automation technologies that extend human capability and transform how organizations operate.
The Labs Engineering team partners with data scientists, platform engineers, and applied AI researchers to develop frameworks that enable self-directed, context-aware, and adaptive systems — all built for real-world scale.
About the Role
Design and implement agentic AI frameworks that orchestrate reasoning, decision-making, and autonomous task execution.
Build scalable multi-agent coordination systems that can plan, execute, and self-correct across dynamic workflows.
Integrate LLMs, vector databases, and tool-use APIs to enable contextual memory, retrieval, and autonomous reasoning.
Develop reusable AI orchestration layers for data-driven automation, knowledge routing, and task delegation between agents.
Collaborate with data science, infrastructure, and platform teams to productionize AI systems with observability, scalability, and resilience.
Contribute to architectural strategy — designing how agents communicate, persist state, and interact with human operators or external systems.
Explore and prototype cutting-edge AI frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, etc.) to evolve Arctic Wolf’s agentic infrastructure.
Drive technical leadership across the AI automation roadmap, ensuring design excellence, code quality, and long-term maintainability.
About You
8+ years of experience in backend software development, distributed systems, or applied AI engineering.
Proven expertise in AI agentic frameworks, orchestration, and autonomous reasoning systems.
Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar backend languages.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain/Semantic Kernel, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, or similar ecosystems.
Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservice design (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Deep curiosity for building generalizable agent infrastructure, reasoning engines, and self-improving AI systems.
Experience mentoring developers and leading cross-functional projects through technical influence rather than formal management.
Comfortable balancing innovation, architecture, and delivery in fast-evolving AI environments.
