What is the Opportunity?
At RBC, we recognize that rewarding performance drives success — for our clients, our teams, and our business.
Incentive Compensation Delivery (ICD) administers over $3 billion in variable compensation annually, supporting 13,000 employees across Wealth Management and Personal & Commercial Banking in North America. Our mandate is simple but powerful: to ensure accuracy, transparency, and fairness in how performance is rewarded.
As a Lead Coordinator with ICD, you will act as a subject matter expert overseeing the audit, control, and administration of incentive compensation programs. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our compensation processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with RBC’s standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
What will you do?
Administer and maintain incentive compensation programs to ensure payments are processed accurately and in alignment with RBC policy and governance standards.
Verify sales transactions and data integrity across multiple systems to ensure compliance with compensation rules and frameworks.
Reconcile and audit accounts, preparing and distributing statements in accordance with SLA timelines.
Investigate and resolve compensation inquiries, ensuring a best-in-class employee experience.
Perform regular control checks and contribute to ongoing risk mitigation efforts.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, enhance automation, and improve accuracy.
Collaborate with business partners across RBC to ensure alignment and shared understanding of compensation programs.
Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports to support operational and governance requirements.
Provide backup and cross-functional support within the team to ensure service continuity and performance excellence.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or compensation administration.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proven ability to build effective relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
Nice-to-have:
Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with DS WMC systems such as Broadridge/BTS, ServiceLink, DocuNet, DataView, and OnDemand.
Previous work experience in the investment or financial services industry.
Experience in an operations or shared services environment.
Proficiency in French and English (bilingualism).
What’s in it for you?
We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
Ability to make a difference and lasting impact.
Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
Opportunities to do challenging work.
This role will be in office 4 days per week.
