What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to join our DevOps team, specifically within the Data Insights and Regulatory domain. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and support of cloud application deployments across public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments like OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). As a technical expert, you will focus on building and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.

You will act as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring team members to drive success. What will you do ?
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and OCP environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning and management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications aligned with best practices.
Establish and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of cloud environments.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Conduct regular reviews of cloud environments to ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of cloud innovation.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
Experience with cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with configuring and customizing COTS cloud applications to meet specific business requirements and operational needs.
Experience in developing and supporting highly scalable and high-performance cloud solutions.
Proficiency in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and influence outcomes without direct managerial authority.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges in cloud environments.
Nice-to-have:
Familiarity with integrating and managing hybrid cloud solutions that span both public and private cloud infrastructures.
Experience working with cloud service providers and third-party vendors to evaluate, onboard, and manage COTS solutions.
Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation.
Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers.
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions.
Experience working with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)
