Lead Analyst - PMO

The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level ranging from $78,097 to $97,614.

Job Summary

This role embodies a “best-in-class” commitment to customer service while delivering critical supply chain and SAP operational support to project teams. It encompasses key PMO Operations responsibilities, including procurement coordination, material expediting, framework governance, and hands-on support for SAP and procurement platforms such as Ariba.

The position plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing costs, and securing the timely delivery of essential materials and services. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in procurement processes, SAP systems, and risk mitigation strategies—driving operational excellence and enabling the successful execution of complex capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects independently, demonstrating strong initiative and ownership.
  • Provide comprehensive SAP support, including purchase requests/orders, invoice processing, work order creation, WBS setup, accruals, CIAC, TECO, and unitization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for iBuy, supporting project managers with bid creation, approval tracking, and tender closure.
  • Act as liaison between Corporate Purchasing, PMO, Project Teams, and other functional groups to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and project objectives.
  • Facilitate end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor procurement timelines and vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and adherence to contractual terms.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and support internal audits through documentation and process improvements.
  • Ensure team compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and Avangrid standards.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Responsible for processing Internal Avangrid Controls and SOX compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and senior leadership, presenting ideas and resolving issues proactively.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and vendors, fostering collaboration, approachability, and shared success.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, operations, or supply chain.
  • SAP proficiency.
  • Understanding of procurement best practices required.
  • Advanced Excel skills required (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Strong quantitative skills with ability to produce spreadsheets, data base queries, and other such analytical tools.
  • Strong customer-oriented commitment.
  • Must be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required.

Preferred Qualifications
