Program Summary

Job Summary
As an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Equipment Maintenance Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all maintenance-related activities at the site. This includes supervising and directing technical and administrative efforts to ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction. You will manage Preventive maintenance services and Fault Repair of Tactical and Non-Tactical equipment. You will work closely with equipment maintenance bay leads, Quality Compliance (QC), and supporting staff to ensure all maintenance activities meet contract requirements and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for equipment maintenance services at the site to include multiple equipment maintenance nodes, fueling operations, and equipment storage locations.
- Work closely with equipment maintenance bay leads, QCs, and support staff to ensure equipment maintenance, warehousing activities, fueling, and property accountability functions are performed to standards and codes required by the LOGCAP contract.
- Responsible for reporting maintenance and readiness activities and equipment to ensure all requirements in the PWS are met.
- Ensure personnel required to work within the Global Combat Support System Army in the maintenance department are trained to perform all levels of maintenance on the equipment assigned.
- Manage a workforce of less than 50 direct hires and subcontracted employees.
- Provide management and direction to employees regarding compliance with company, customer, and local area of responsibility standards of conduct.
- Instill a culture of continuous process improvement and high performance; and ensure that health, morale, and welfare requirements are met.
- Review and make recommendations concerning daily operations.
- Supervise, plan, coordinate, and direct the field and sustainment maintenance of all wheeled, tracked, armament, power generation, and utility equipment.
- Serve as principal supervisory lead for maintenance and/or operations for the project office.
- Supervise personnel performing the duties of: Tactical vehicles, Non-tactical vehicles, Generators, MHE, Heavy equipment, Small engine.
- Report directly to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, and in their absence, be authorized to act on behalf of the Contractor for all matters relating to this contract and be designated in writing to the Contracting Officer (CO).
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow HAZMAT rules and regulations concerning waste material from equipment.
- Wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) during tasks where it is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in the management of a similar or related multi-function operation.
- Must have at least 3 years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience in military maintenance of tactical vehicles / non tactical vehicles.
- Requires at least 3 years of management experience working within the Global Combat Support Service Army (GCSS-A).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Must have experience with MAXIMO.
- Must have experience with generators, MHE, heavy equipment, small engines, and prepositioned stocks within the logistics career fields.
- Must be fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis as well as climb, reach, crawl, bend, crouch, and work in tight spaces.
- Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to the area of responsibility required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining.
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Experience in repairs and troubleshooting of the M984A4W/W, M1097, M1151, M1088A1, M978A4, M977A4, M969A1, generator series MEP-806B, and Cranes. Experience likewise required in the repair and troubleshooting of commercial Light, Heavy, and Material Handling equipment.
- The ability to adjust workloads and tasks to meet fast changing directions utilizing a diverse workforce consisting of multiple nationalities.
