Job Summary
As the MCT Foreman, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of the Movement Control Team responsible for coordinating the receipt, processing, and shipment of military cargo and equipment. You will ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) movement procedures, manage a team of MCT Specialists, and maintain operational efficiency and accuracy in all CRSP activities. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise in movement control systems, and a commitment to operational security and customer service excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supervise and manage CRSP operations, including inbound and outbound cargo processing, documentation, and shipment coordination.
Lead a team of MCT Specialists in executing movement control functions in support of military logistics.
Utilize Movement Automation Query Systems such as GTN, GDSS, GATES, and TC-AIMS to monitor and track intra/inter-theater passenger and cargo movements.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of transportation documentation, including Diplomatic Clearance Requests and shipment manifests.
Maintain and organize manual and electronic records of cargo movements, schedules, and inventory.
Coordinate with military personnel, government representatives, and internal stakeholders to ensure mission requirements are met.
Review transportation schedules, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues related to overdue or misrouted cargo.
Compile and submit daily Situation Reports (SITREPs) to military and company leadership.
Enforce OPSEC protocols in all communications and operational procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication, especially during high-pressure situations.
Train and mentor team members on CRSP procedures, safety standards, and movement control systems.
Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by mission demands.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in movement control or logistics, including prior supervisory or lead responsibilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Valid Driver’s License and Passport (minimum 12 months validity and 6 blank pages).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic operational environments.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field.
Experience working in a CRSP or similar military logistics environment.
Familiarity with DoD movement terminology and procedures.
Experience with Diplomatic Clearance Requests and cargo coordination.
Prior use of GTN, GDSS, GATES, TC-AIMS, and other movement control systems.
