Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician (Power Generation), you are responsible for daily maintenance tasks and documentation, ensuring the proper functioning of generators and light sets. Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal safety equipment and compliance with HAZMAT regulations, is paramount.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance checks on generators and light sets.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Wear required personal safety equipment during tasks.
  • Follow HAZMAT rules and regulations concerning waste material from generators.
  • Utilize 2 years of experience to enhance maintenance operations.
  • Work on generators and engines, including but not limited to: SDMO – John Deere / Doosan engines, Himoinsa – Yanmar / FPT IVECO engines, Cummins engines, and Onis Visa – Perkins engines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of directly related experience.
  • Must have experience with any of the following generators and engines: SDMO – John Deere / Doosan engines, Himoinsa – Yanmar / FPT IVECO engines, Cummins engines, and Onis Visa – Perkins engines.
  • Requires a valid Driver's License.
  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages
  • Employees shall utilize all proper lifting procedures and practices associated with all lifting and material handling tasks that are assigned and associated with this job description

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Experience and ability to work effectively with non-native English speakers strongly preferred.
  • Prior overseas professional experience.
