Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary
As a Logistics Warehouseman General Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations within a Supply Support Activity (SSA). This role ensures compliance with U.S. Army regulations and contract requirements while managing personnel, inventory, and material flow to support mission objectives. The position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of Army logistics systems, and the ability to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for staff.
- Coordinate daily work schedules and assign tasks to meet operational goals.
- Oversee receipt, storage, issue, and turn-in of materials and equipment.
- Ensure proper planning and execution of material handling processes.
- Manage control of project-furnished tools and rental equipment.
- Maintain compliance with Army regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5) and contract standards.
- Conduct quality audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct cyclic and 100% inventories of Stock Record Account (SRA).
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all transactions.
- Prepare operational reports and participate in planning meetings.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Requires strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Knowledge of Army supply regulations and SSA operations.
- Knowledge of the Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army), Post-Goods Issue Process, Turn-In Process, Put away actions, and Storage Support Functions.
- Must have the GCSS-Army Training and Certification (GTRAC)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Requires strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
