We offer ultra pure carrier gases, a wide range of specialty gases and advanced precursor molecules, enabling equipment for safe distribution, purification and on-line purity control. On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.
Our Laboratory Technicians are responsible for running samples on a daily basis using ICP-MS, classical wet lab analyses, GC-MS, and particle counters. The work is performed in an exciting, fast-paced, and dynamic environment on a safety-oriented team passionate about providing quality data to our customers in a timely manner. In addition to sample analysis duties, this individual will be responsible for performing tasks such as: sample login and tracking, material and kit handling, proper disposal of hazardous waste, reviewing data, and reporting results to the customer.
Responsibilities
Labware washing
Transporting samples between labs
Entering test results into data management systems timely and accurately
Filling bottle kits
Following SOP's
Lab cleaning and organization
Sample preparation
Sample login and management using LIMS
Analysis of semiconductor grade chemicals for trace impurities or assay
Routine Waste disposal
Preparation of high quality standards for instrument calibration
Standardization of titrants
Calibration of analytical instruments
Safe handling of chemicals
Put together results, review data quality, and report results to customers
Submit quality and safety near misses
Stay up to date on all lab trainings
Bring forward suggestions on safety and quality improvements
Attend all Safety Meetings
Interpret and understand analytical data
Requirements
HS Diploma and 5 years of Lab Experience OR Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 3 years of Experience OR Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 0 years of Experience
Able to adapt to teamwork environment
Good computer skills
Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture
Holiday and weekend coverage
Flexible to work OT as needed during staffing shortages
Flexible to work night shifts
The hourly base pay range for this position in Texas is $21.00 - $23.00. Please note that the hourly base pay information is a general guideline only.
