The opportunity
We are looking for a Lab Manager to be part of innovation team in Grid Automation. In this role you will collaborate with dynamic global technology teams with niche competences and cutting-edge technology. You will be developing the power grids of the future, creating software that is used in crucial infrastructure and real time. The product is designed to have a long life while also being very efficient and secure.
As Lab Manager you will be responsible for smooth operations of our local laboratory consisting of multiple IT and measurement equipment. This will include networking, hardware maintenance as well as necessary Health and Safety, procurement and hands-on involvement in experiments and test happening within the lab.
This position is part of a team build cutting edge applications for power grids.

Windows and Linux servers, multiple IDE, advanced networking, physical lab infrastructure.

How you’ll make an impact
Be part of real DevOps cross functional team focused on delivery efficiency
Maintain and develop laboratory equipment and infrastructure to support wide range of experiments and testing activities
Monitor and operate the equipment during experiments and tests
Work with the team to design test cases and experiments to jointly deliver working solutions
Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology
Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members
Your Background
You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, Power Systems or an equivalent field of study
3+ year of experience with system administration ( Windows and Linux based) and hardware maintenance
Former experience with one or more of: SCADA, remote terminal units, communication protocols will be a big plus but not a must.
You have a very good knowledge of networking
You have willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
You have scripting/programming skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) will be a plus
You are proficient with written and spoken communication in English
