This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Drives lab systems engineering including the development of solutions to improve lab quality, compliance, and throughput.
Drives monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for lab equipment including maintenance, service, calibration, and testing activities.
Creates and develops test plans for new features on each product and recommends improvements to enable automated scripting for testing and archiving of results.
Drives lab execution including engineering analysis, instrumentation, data analysis, and result reporting.
Resolves reported bugs and root causes issues that could impact product quality and experience.
Develops plans and cost estimates based on requirements and assesses projects to analyze risks and rewards, drive procurement of equipment and other lab materials, and development of lab infrastructure.
Ensures lab preparedness including bench setup, procurement of test equipment and other lab materials, and infrastructure requirements.
Collaborates with functional teams such as IT, security, and facilities to maintain a successful lab.
Develops and coordinates the design, development, and implementation of new ideas, process, and systems for lab improvements needed to meet program deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Engineering Experience at intel as an intern or related experience.
Experience in executing low to medium complexity tasks in the labs such as:
Controlling lab materials needed to operate the labs.
Providing support on lab space definition and assignment through common constraints such as lab space capacity, product requirements and Lab infrastructure.
Providing support to lab users to address and resolve common infrastructure problems.
Supporting efficiency of lab infrastructure through innovation.
Maintaining lab Safety and EHS standards.
Proactively resolving infrastructure and lab material sourcing problems.
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Industrial Engineering or related engineering degree recent college graduate.
Fluent in English communication.
