What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
- ·Oversee the performance, capacity, and availability of HPE Alletra storage systems, implementing best practices to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Provide expert-level support for complex storage issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems promptly.
- Create comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients to enhance their understanding and effective use of HPE Alletra solutions.
- Develop and deploy HPE Alletra storage solutions tailored to specific business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in HPE Alletra technologies and industry trends, recommending enhancements to improve storage solutions.
- ·Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and troubleshooting skills in 3PAR, Primera, Alletra, and/or MSA/NAS products.
- Possess strong knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and networking.
- Exhibit a solid understanding and basic troubleshooting skills in Storage Area Networks (SAN).
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in troubleshooting within technical environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in both software and hardware aspects of computing and storage.
- ·Capable of leading resolution activities for escalated customer issues.
- Able to mentor new agents and contribute to technical action plans.
- Assist in root cause analysis of defects and issues, and facilitate product releases and rollouts.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve problems.

- Good knowledge with Operating systems,

- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibits sound business judgment, decision-making abilities, negotiation skills, time and resource management, complex problem-solving capabilities, in-depth product knowledge, creativity, teamwork, understanding of quality processes, political astuteness, cultural sensitivity, and a strong ability to learn quickly.
- Experienced in interacting with and supporting Level 1 support teams and customers.
- A proven team player with the ability and willingness to motivate and support fellow engineers.
Education and Experience Required:
- Strong understanding of the compute and storage stack across multivendor solutions. Experience delivering professional services in the IT infrastructure domain is preferred.
- 6–10 years of industry experience managing aspects of remote delivery in professional services.
- In-depth knowledge of HPE Alletra storage architecture, features, and functionalities. Hands-on experience with DSCC or equivalent tools.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level storage solutions, preferably with HPE Alletra or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex storage-related issues.
- Relevant certifications in HPE storage solutions or related technologies are advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
