Junior Quant Analyst (VIE)

London Full time

We are looking for a Junior Quant Analyst (VIE) to join our team in London, starting 1 January 2026. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to leverage data and quantitative techniques to drive business solutions in the cash equity and data service domain.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Working with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
  • Identifying valuable data sources and automating collection processes
  • Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Mining and analysing data from company databases and data sets to drive optimisation and improvement of product and platform development
  • Developing custom data models and artificial intelligence algorithms to apply to data sets
  • Undertaking pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
  • Presenting information using data visualisation techniques
  • Developing processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy
  • Collaborating with engineering and product development teams
  • Coordinating with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes

Your profile

  • Eligibility for the V.I.E programme as set by Business France: nationality of an EU country, aged 18-28, and no tax residence or work experience in the UK
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL) to manipulate data, draw insights from large data sets and query databases
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures
  • Experience creating and using advanced machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence algorithms and statistics, such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees and neural networks
  • Graduate degree from a top university or engineering school, preferably in applied mathematics, statistics, data science or another quantitative field
  • Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills with an emphasis on practical implementation
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English
