Our Electron rocket has become the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket annually and has delivered more than 230 satellites to orbit, all while we work to develop Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle for larger constellation deployment. Our Space Systems business designs and builds our extensive line of satellites, payloads, and their components, including spacecraft that have been selected to support NASA missions to the Moon and Mars and components used on the James Webb Space Telescope. 

IT 

Rocket Lab’s IT team is responsible for how our global teams access information and run operations across our computer systems, networks, and devices. Our hardworking IT team is a group of flexible problem-solvers working in a fast-paced environment but who also thrive under the challenge of supporting all of our proprietary systems and people, from finance to launch operations. The EIS ERP team are responsible for the effective, and secure operation of the Enterprise Resource Planning systems that work across the NZ, US and Canadian operations.

JUNIOR ERP SUPPORT ANALYST

Based onsite at Rocket Lab's Auckland, NZ Facility the ERP Support Analyst will be responsible for providing essential ERP (LN) application support across our enterprise. This role is perfect for a recent graduate with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business who has a desire to learn, strong analytical skills, a commitment to providing responsive, high-quality user support and wants to become an ERP systems expert. You will utilize the Jira ticketing system, actively work with users on the shop floor and in the office, and collaborate closely with Business Analysts to resolve critical system issues.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

  • The Junior Support Analyst has a passion for providing ERP system users with responsive & high-quality support and have a desire to learn about the system and how users interact with the system.
  • They provide level 1 ERP (LN) application support through the Jira ticketing system to users across the RL enterprise from engineering, manufacturing, supply chain & accounting and work closely with EIS Business Analysts to provide timely resolution to user issues.
  • They actively work with the system users remotely and at their place of work in the shop floor, warehouse or office to understand and take ownership of issues, provide solutions and explain the solutions to the user in a timely fashion.
  • They have good analytical skills and apply these skills to understanding user issues and determining solutions.
  • They will proactively seek support and guidance from peers to resolve issues and increase their knowledge.

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other relevant subject.
  • Proven ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • When required, ability to work extended hours to resolve critical issues and to complete tasks that cannot be done during normal system times.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Clarity of thought, strong communication skills and the ability to build robust working relationships across the business.
  • Strong attention to detail - ability to accurately document.
  • At least 1-years prior experience supporting ERP system users in an aerospace or hi-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Good SQL skills
  • Supply chain experience / qualifications

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.   
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.  
  • Must be physically able to commute to buildings 
  • Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise.
