Role Purpose
Are you bursting with creative ideas and ready to make your mark on a national consumer brand? As our Junior Brand Manager, you’ll be the spark that helps bring TalkTalk’s brand to life! You’ll support our talented team on exciting brand projects, get hands-on with campaign launches, work alongside our Senior SEO & PPC Manager, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. No two days are the same – and that’s just how you like it.
Main Responsibilities
Dive into brand and digital marketing projects, working side-by-side with a passionate team and creative agency partners.
Lend your creative flair to campaign brainstorming, product launches, and all things brand – your ideas are always welcome!
Be a guardian of the TalkTalk brand, helping to keep our tone of voice and visual identity consistent (and never boring) across every channel.
Keep projects on track by wrangling timelines, deliverables, and budgets – you’re the team’s go-to organiser.
Turn data into stories by preparing fun, insightful reports and presentations on brand performance and campaign results.
Work alongside our Senior SEO & PPC Manager to ensure we are opitimising organic and paid search in the most effective ways, and deputising for them where necessary
Take charge of essentials: schedule meetings, organise assets, and keep our project docs in tip-top shape.
Collaborate with Commercial, Product, Digital, and Communications teams – you’ll get to know everyone!
Spot trends, keep an eye on competitors, and share your discoveries to help shape our next big idea.
Help manage our agency and supplier relationships, making sure everything’s delivered on time and to a high standard.
Bring positive energy, curiosity, and a can-do attitude to every challenge.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Knowledge:
A basic understanding of brand marketing, campaign development, and the importance of brand consistency.
Awareness of digital marketing, social media trends, and how brands show up online.
Understanding of the creative process and how to brief designers, copywriters, or agencies.
Awareness of the telecoms, utilities, or other consumer-facing sectors is a plus.
Skills:
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, design, and what makes a brand stand out.
Super-organised and able to juggle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines at once.
Brilliant written and verbal communicator, able to adapt your style for different audiences.
Confident using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); bonus points for experience with creative tools or analytics dashboards.
Comfortable pulling together reports, presentations, and campaign summaries that are as clear as they are engaging.
Eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, and always looking for ways to improve how we do things.
Able to build relationships and work with people
Experience:
Some experience in marketing, brand, or communications (internships, uni projects, or entry-level roles all count!).
Experience supporting projects or campaigns, ideally in a consumer-facing environment.
Exposure to working with agencies, suppliers, or cross-functional teams is a plus.
Experience managing or updating content on websites or social media is desirable.
