This role focuses on managing IT & Telecom sourcing categories across EMEA in collaboration with the Global IT & Telecom Indirect Procurement Team. You will act as the regional procurement expert, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing excellence across the IT & Telecom spend.
Key Responsibilities
Lead IT & Telecom sourcing initiatives across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global category strategies.
Own and deliver regional procurement projects, achieving agreed savings targets and service level improvements.
Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing and supplier management strategies.
Drive competitive bidding, tendering, and contract negotiation for suppliers over €100K spend.
Support and guide local sourcing initiatives (<€100K) across multiple EMEA markets.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices across the region.
Reduce supplier base and drive spend towards preferred and contracted suppliers.
Report savings, manage contracts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent
8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in IT & Telecom strategic sourcing
Proven track record in managing multi-country procurement projects
Strong analytical and financial acumen with demonstrated savings delivery
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
Fluent in English and Spanish
Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Trackwise)
Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills
Preferred:
Experience in a large multinational or matrix organization.
Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
Exposure to supplier risk management and sustainability initiatives.
