IT & Telecom Procurement Manager – EMEA

This role focuses on managing IT & Telecom sourcing categories across EMEA in collaboration with the Global IT & Telecom Indirect Procurement Team. You will act as the regional procurement expert, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing excellence across the IT & Telecom spend. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead IT & Telecom sourcing initiatives across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global category strategies. 

  • Own and deliver regional procurement projects, achieving agreed savings targets and service level improvements. 

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing and supplier management strategies. 

  • Drive competitive bidding, tendering, and contract negotiation for suppliers over €100K spend. 

  • Support and guide local sourcing initiatives (<€100K) across multiple EMEA markets. 

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices across the region. 

  • Reduce supplier base and drive spend towards preferred and contracted suppliers. 

  • Report savings, manage contracts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

Qualifications & Experience 

Essential: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent 

  • 8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in IT & Telecom strategic sourcing

  • Proven track record in managing multi-country procurement projects

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with demonstrated savings delivery

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels

  • Fluent in English and Spanish 

  • Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Trackwise)

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills

Preferred: 

  • Experience in a large multinational or matrix organization. 

  • Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies. 

  • Exposure to supplier risk management and sustainability initiatives. 

Travel Percentage: 20%
