Manages the relationship and monitors performance of information technology vendors contracted for the delivery of outsourced services. Works closely with the information technology user groups and contracted service providers to assess internal needs and vendor performance. Establishes and monitors service level agreements. Audits contractual compliance, solicits feedback from users, and communicates scorecards to vendors. Coordinates lifecycle activities such as incident management, compliance audits, software licensing and software/hardware upgrades and maintenance. Manages the IT budget and performs cost and spend analysis to identify cost effective solutions for existing and future contracts.
Responsibilities:
Ability to build tools and systems to monitoring sales trends to determine which products to buy and which vendors to purchase from.
Able to develop or use advanced tools to analyze budget trends to proactively identify gaps, concerns, or risks.
Advanced skill in contract negotiation.
Develop strategies for inventory control procedures to ensure accurate but timely reporting of IT asset management.
Able to seamlessly manage all software contracts and negotiations across the entire company.
Viewed as a leader and expert within CWAN in budget management, contract negotiation, and purchasing.
Is relied upon to make final purchasing decisions once business leaders have weighed in with their input
