Agile Space Industries is seeking an IT Support Specialist for onsite support in Durango, CO. The IT Support Specialist provides Tier 1/2 technical support across engineering, manufacturing, and administrative environments. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting identity and access management, maintaining endpoint security compliance, and ensuring users remain productive across a multi-site aerospace organization. The IT Support Specialist works closely with Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, and Security/GRC personnel to uphold reliability, security, and compliance with ITAR, NIST SP 800-171, and CMMC requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, VPN access, and network connectivity issues.
• Image, configure, deploy, and maintain endpoint systems following standardized procedures.
• Support onboarding/offboarding workflows, including account creation, MFA setup, and access changes.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and assist with hardware lifecycle management.
• Ensure endpoint compliance with patching, system hardening, and endpoint protection tools.
• Document technical procedures and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
• Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, hardware refreshes, and new-site deployments.
• Escalate complex issues to Systems Administrators or Network Engineers as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• 1–3+ years of experience in IT support or related technical role.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, PC hardware, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with Active Directory, user provisioning, MFA, and identity management workflows.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work on-site in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC compliance requirements.
• Experience with endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender.
• Experience with device management tools such as Intune or Autopilot.
• Basic PowerShell scripting capability.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft MS-900.
Working Conditions:
• On-site role supporting production, engineering, and administrative staff.
• Participation in after-hours maintenance windows or on-call rotation may be required.
• Occasional travel to other company facilities may be required.

Employment Type: Exempt
The expected salary range for this role is $50,000-$76,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange, rather than the upper end.
