POSITION SUMMARY:

A business focused Associate IT Director that can lead the SAP application team to maintain scalable and reliable system operations, continuous improvements and strategic SAP roadmap opportunities for Indivior.

The role leverages IT, business and SAP experience to manage IT demand, architect and lead solution implementation aligning Business, IT functions and external partners to improve business processes, reporting and capabilities of corporate applications within a pharmaceutical environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

IT Application Strategy:

  • Determine strategy and roadmap for SAP and associated applications
  • Work with IT and business colleagues to identify opportunities to leverage AI
  • Keep abreast of regulatory, industry and technology changes

Stakeholder Management / Partnership & Governance:

  • Facilitate regular IT business management stakeholder meetings to communicate status of current projects and prioritize IT demand
  • Mature IT Governance & lead business reviews to identify roadmap opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, utilization and governance of systems
  • Provide guidance and leadership for best practice application training effectiveness

Application Management:

  • Responsible for aspects of budget, license and vendor management for SAP support partners and software vendors
  • Partner with internal and external vendors on development and support, ensuring any support issues are escalated and prioritized appropriately.
  • Work closely with the business and Information Security to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure systems are compliant with all relevant policies.
  • Define and evolve application management approach for the systems including system specific change management and application administration

Team and Project Leadership:

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with key business partners and IT colleagues that enables effective support and solution implementation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to facilitate offshore and onsite vendor and internal support teams, working across geographies to ensure company SLA’s are met.
  • Support and coach team members, and guide external vendors, to meet business objectives.
  • Manage IT and business facing projects by leading teams to meet schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Manage key risks, issues, actions, and decisions in timely manner.
  • Identify workload and resourcing constraints and propose options to prioritize and deliver solutions

Procedures and Controls:

  • Ownership and responsibility for maintaining and maturing SAP SDLC
  • Continue to mature IT and business processes and associated training documentation
  • Review and approve IT procedures and controls

Application Support and Administration:

  • Be responsible for the teams who manage day to day incidents and requests for SAP and associated systems, ensuring these are managed in line with SLA’s, and Indivior IT best practices.
  • Maintain SAP system operation as required by the business and in line with Indivior Policies and SOP’s.
  • Complete regular IT administration activities, covering:
    • Planning and communication of system outage and maintenance plans
    • Execution and review of scheduled Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) and IT General controls

Projects and Enhancements:

  • Act as Project Manager for major IT projects, and input into other projects that may impact upon the applications being managed.
  • Lead and mentor team members in all aspects of the project lifecycle, including gathering requirements, Gap Analysis and blueprinting, system configuration, customization, testing, documenting, deployment and training end-users on SAP and associated applications
  • Formalize business cases, requirements and assessments for SAP and associated applications
  • Design and implement solutions and continual business process improvements
  • Review and approve training & knowledge articles, standard operating procedure documents, functional and technical design documents, ensuring that documentation specific to Indivior’s Good Documentation Practices as per the standards set by Quality and Compliance department
  • Review and approved SAP testing requirements, script preparation and successful testing completion as per defined testing standards
  • Review and approve cutover and deployment plans ensuring communication, training and support issues are completed timely to enable successful implementation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: 4-year Bachelor’s Degree

Field of Study: Business / Engineering or Supply / Operations discipline with focus on Information Technology

Industry: Pharmaceuticals / Life science / Manufacturing

Computer/Application Skills: Windows, MS Office, ValGenesis, ServiceNow, SAP ECC / S/4 HANA.

COMPETENCIES/CONDUCT:

In addition to the minimum qualifications, the employee will demonstrate:

Experience

  • At least 10 years’ experience in IT Management of SAP ERP applications
  • Demonstrated SAP Functional and Technical leadership experience
  • Minimum 12 years hands on experience in leveraging SAP ECC 6 or S4 HANA across several modules: FI / CO, MM, SD, PP-PI, WMS, IBP, BI, PI / PO.
  • Demonstrated experience operating within an SAP “Global Template” environment leveraging both inhouse and external manufacturing within a validated regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing business cases and leading SAP transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder, vendor and IT demand management
  • Demonstrated implementation & support experience of integrating SAP with external partners
