Role Description: 

You will join our Purchasing division, a strategic pillar at the core cornerstone of all our business functions and L-Acoustics’ operations. 

Organized into three expert teams — Direct Material, Indirect Material, and Projects —our division works to build sustainable and mutually beneficial supplier relationships that support our bold innovation ambitions.  

Working hand-in-hand with internal stakeholders, we deliver pragmatic and efficient solutions to secure the best resources at optimal cost and lead time.  

Within the Indirect Material Purchasing team, your focus will be on IT & Digital purchasing activities (Softwares, hardwares,), essential to our infrastructure and digital transformation. 

As an IT Purchasing Manager, your key responsibilities will include:  

Need analysis & specification:  

  • Collect and analyse in autonomy internal stakeholders' requirements & expectations, compiling draft detailed specifications and RFPs. 

  • Align with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, business teams) to ensure clarity and feasibility of IT purchasing needs. 

Supplier sourcing & negotiation:  

  • Identify and qualify suppliers,  

  • Launch and manage calls for tenders. 

  • Define supplier selection criteria based on technology leadership, global footprint, quality standards, sustainability etc. 

  • Lead negotiations to establish long-term partnerships with global and local IT suppliers, ensuring competitive agreements and compliance. 

  • Manage the contractual terms negotiation with strong support from our legal team 

  • Propose supplier recommandations 

  • Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, and lead time through audits and structured review cycles. 

Operational purchasing management:  

  • Process and monitor purchasing requests (PR) and ensure ERP data accuracy. 

  • Coordinate with the Accounting team for invoice and payment follow-up. 

  • Track and report KPIs (cost savings, lead times, compliance, etc.) using Power BI. 

IT Purchasing strategy:  

  • Define and implement procurement strategies for software and IT services. 

  • Analyse market dynamics, risks, and cost structures to optimize total cost of ownership. 

  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across IT categories. 

  • Continuously improve purchasing policies and processes. 

Technology watch and innovation: 

  • Monitor market trends and emerging technologies. 

  • Challenge existing tools (e.g., monday.com, JIRA, BI dashboards) and propose improvements or alternatives to optimize purchasing processes. 

  • Represent L-Acoustics at industry events and technology fairs. 

Profile & requirements: 

  • Master's degree in engineering.  

  • Experience: 10+ years in purchasing, including at least 5 years in IT purchasing. 

  • Skills: Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities, strategic mindset, and operational rigor. 

  • Tools: Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft DYN 365 is a plus) and BI tools (such as Power BI). 

  • Languages: Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus. 

  • Mindset: Collaborative, pragmatic, rigorous, synthetic mindset, robust and committed to excellence.
