About the Role
The IT Project Management Office (PMO) Consultant assists the local IT Business Unit in the provision of structure, consolidation and analysis of both qualitative & quantitative data reporting, and implementation of project governance service excellence on IT Projects plans, budgets. S/he also ensures that IT Projects align with established governance procedures, and best practices according to both local and Group standards, and other necessary activities in pursuit of local IT Business Unit objectives and targets.
Roles and Responsibilities 
- Establishes Governance Processes and Monitoring of IT Project objective and Results to meet overall IT Business objectives.
 - Creates a single point of visibility and control on IT Project Performance Management against IT Project Plans Objectives & Key Results to upper management for quick business decisions and control.
 - Manages PMO Cadences – Project Reviews and Upper Management Reviews on a regular basis.
 - Provides analytical/strategic-thinking, leadership support, and service excellence discipline that enable project teams to: 1) isolate business issues; 2) aid resolve project issue to meet overall project timelines and deliverables under Project Service Excellence
 - Continually develops IT PMO Materials, Templates, Lessons Learned, to aid in the operational and project-specific reporting for both AIA PH Local Business Unit and AIA Group, including documentation of alignments and approvals from relevant stakeholders during Project Steer Committee Meetings.
 - Works closely with Local BU Finance Project Approval Governance and Group Governance to comply and report IT Projects adherence to Local and Group Project Standards.
 - Establishes and maintains knowledge database Project Management Office (PMO) processes and conducts continual process improvement/innovations for increased effectiveness and efficiency using appropriate models and methodologies.
 - Works closely with the AIA PH IT Leadership Team to manage IT Project risks and resolve challenges on IT Strategic Plans and Performance against Objectives & Key results.
 - Handles cadences for Annual and Quarterly Objective & Key Results Planning and performance management reviews.
 - Highlights risks due to changes or delays and appropriately flags negative impact to IT PMO Strategies on a timely manner to upper management.
 - Interfaces and leads PMO process discussions on all PMO Activities in compliance to the AIA Risk & Compliance Teams and Internal Auditor reviews
 
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 extensive years of experience in Business & Financial management, Program Management, Stakeholder management, IT Software Development Lifecyle/DevOps/Project Delivery of IT products and systems following Traditional and Agile methodologies, and marketing communications
 - Proven experience in Project Management Review, SDLC compliance reviews and Project Management principles with strong familiarity with CMMI framework and implementation processes.
 - Knowledge of IT Software Development Life Cycle and ITIL Practices
 - Preferably has good command of visual graphics and design.
 - Bachelor’s degree in combined Business & Information Technology, Engineering, or similar field
 - Insurance or financial services industry experience ideal but not a must.
 - Strong change agent and can influence mindset and behaviors, including those of senior leaders.
 - Self-starter and highly self-managing with the Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.

 - Intellectually curious and loves learning new skills and capabilities.
 - Strong knowledge in agile ways of working including values, principles, practices, and tools
