The Opportunity
The IT OT Process & Compliance Specialist provides process and compliance support for the ITOT Lab Systems support team deploying GxP and Non-GxP analytical Laboratory Instruments and related peripherals. Skilled at providing end user support in a complex, 24x7 environment. Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers. Produces end user documentation and training materials. Broad familiarity with information technology, both hardware and software. Assist in designing information technology processes and procedures in alignment with Roche / Genentech’s business needs and ITOT compliance requirements.
This includes activities like:
Perform routine basic tasks (e.g. user management, data backup, data extraction, etc..) for laboratory systems supported by the Hillsboro ITOT Lab Systems Support team
Maintain the ServiceNow (SNOW) configuration (Common Service Data model (CSDM), Service/Change/Incidents templates, etc) to ensure it represents the Lab systems team's support model and service commitments
Monitors the SNOW queue and periodically sample the quality of its records and adherence to ALCOA+ principles
Measure the execution of the delivery of services per Service Level Agreements to customers in support of a 24x7 mission critical environment
Open and close service requests, as well as manage the assignment, tracking, and completion of requests
Coordinate with other sites and corporate IT staff in the resolution of issues. Ensure that resolutions are consistent with standards and do not introduce additional conflicts
Supports the team in maintaining adherence to the company IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and procedures and its required compliance elements in support of the Product Quality Systems (PQS) process
Maintains the portfolio of Lab projects demands and status in collaboration with the Lab Systems Team
Supports the team in maintaining ALCOA+ records of actions performed relative to GMP Systems to preserve Data Integrity
Works with the ITOT CSV/Compliance team in assessing impact to local Lab Systems processes and procedures due to changes to governing ( IT, PQS) processes
Who You Are
BS degree in Computer Science or related field
4 to 6 years experience with exposure to areas such as customer support, technical writing, process improvement, project coordination
Basic knowledge of computer and network concepts (e.g., Windows , TCP IP, Windows Networking, Ethernet)
Project management knowledge or experience is desirable
ITSM experience is a plus.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks among many competing requests. Ability to focus on projects in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions, changing priorities and deadlines
Experience in support of applications within FDA-regulated (GxP) environments is preferred
Experience working in an analytical laboratory environment is a plus
Strong analytical skills for effective troubleshooting and problem solving
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oregon is $72,800 - $135,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
