IT Operational Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operation Analyst with strong expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering application supports. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations of engineering applications, support PLM-related initiatives, and collaborate with local/global multi-cultural teams enabling digital transformation and continuous improvement, following Agile and ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities

PLM & Engineering Application Support

  • Provide onsite and regional technical supports for PTC Windchill, Autodesk Vault and MCAD tools (Creo, AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLM-CAD integration, data and workflow management, and user access.
  • Support configuration for Windchill, Autodesk Vault and CAD.
  • Support Windchill major/ minor upgrades including SIT/UAT/Hyper cares, etc.

PLM Customization

  • Maintenance and support for Windchill modules: PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, MPMLink.
  • Manage Change Management, Supplier Management (AML/AVL), Visualization Services (WVS), Workflow Management, and BOM Management.
  • Execute data migration using multiple utilities.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work with engineering teams to optimize PLM/CAD workflows, capture business requirements.
  • Participate in global PLM and digital transformation initiatives, including upgrades, testing, and deployment.
  • Identify issues and risks proactively, propose effective solutions, and ensure timely resolution to minimize business impact.
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management; apply Agile methodologies for issue tracking and devops activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and global IT teams for technical support and enhancements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular management reports on system performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

Shift Requirement

  • Flexible working hours to support global teams, including rotational shifts and occasional weekend or after-hours support during critical deployments or system maintenance.

Key Skills

  • PLM and CAD Tools: PTC Windchill (12 and up), Creo, AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.
  • Database: Oracle, SQL
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
  • DevOps Tools: ServiceNOW, Azure DevOps, GitHub
  • Methodologies: Agile, ITIL
  • Languages: English, Mandarin (Spoken and written)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years in PLM and CAD support; experience with Windchill customization is must.
  • Minimum 3+ years in product engineering and manufacturing IT supports in building technology and equipment industries such as industrial refrigeration, chillers, fire detection, fire suppression.
  • Proven track records in supporting, troubleshooting Windchill modules such as Change Management, Supplier Management (AML/AVL), Visualization Services (WVS), Workflow Management, and BOM Management.
  • Familiarity with PLM integrations and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud and operating systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global multi-cultural team environment.
  • ITIL and Agile certifications are an advantage.
