As an IT Business Analyst, you will be a key player in the cooperation between IT and Business stakeholders. You drive to make complex changes happen within and across Tribes.
Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in translating business requirements into business value. You align between squads –from the same or different Tribe(s) – and other parts of the organization and manage dependencies.
The team
You will be part of the Global Account Management System area within Wholesale Banking Tech, Network and Core Banking. You will collaborate with multiple teams spread across domains in Philippines, India, Belgium, The Netherlands, and more. We follow a Scrum Agile development process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to deliver better software faster. Key Responsibilities
Interprets business rules and both functional and non-functional requirements to define technical specifications, based on the provided architectural design. This includes system interactions, data exchange, and transformations, following a specific design methodology.
Participates in shaping activities and feasibility analyses for new or enhanced initiatives (Epics and User Stories), assessing IT impacts. Supports developers during the development phase.
Performs detailed functional and technical analysis and design, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
Provides support during testing and assists in problem resolution, contributing to quality assurance and issue management.
Breaks down requirements and technical solutions into appropriate User Stories, evaluating costs, benefits, and risks of various options. Justifies decisions through logical and systematic reasoning.
How to Succeed:
4+ years of experience in software development projects preferably in Agile methodology.
Experience in designing backend solutions and developing applications with Java on/with J2EE platform, Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL.
Experience in designing frontend solutions using TypeScript and JavaScript.
Experience in the same role in a complex environment with 24/7 service availability.
Excellent knowledge of the existing IT architecture (for the relevant domain) and technical flows.
Experience in implementing any core banking application.
Nice to have:
Finacle implementation experience
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant working experience bridging the gap between business and IT.
Problem solving skills to find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments.
Analytic skills for creating end-to-end solutions.
A team player mindset, with a 'make it happen' mentality, eager to learn and the ability to coach others.
Good communication skills in English, strong communication and presentation skills (telling – selling) across different skill and seniority levels.
Main areas of knowledge: Microservices architecture and domain design model.
Advanced experience in the development of REST & SOAP application services.
Technology landscape (application level) of the relevant domain.
Experienced in SWIFT Messaging format i.e. ISO 20022.
DBMS and SQL (e.g., Oracle, PL/ SQL) JUnit testing, test driven development and spring integration testing.
Agile paradigm and Scrum.
